It is Saturday night. I have chicken in a skillet and brown rice steaming in the saucepot. We have both had an active day; Tom raked the front yard, took Trigger for long walks, and ran 3 miles. I did a 10-miler this morning and then went to a sport banquet in the afternoon. But, now it is time to relax. We enjoyed watching our neighbor’s daughter get picked up in a limo for her senior prom.
This Corral De La Villa Tempranillo 2005 from Spain is a beautiful violet color and bursting with spicy aromas. On the palate it is very crisp, clean and dry feel with hardy tannins. The finish is long with a taste of blackberry. I like this wine very much. It makes me think of our son, Tony, who also loves Tempranillo.

Looks like we have ordered the same wines again from 4SW. I recieved these the other day, but haven’t tried them yet. I’ll let you know when I do.

I finally got around to giving this one a try. Sorry I waited so long, yet I’m glad I have a couple of more. Garnet red color, good legs, aromas of cherry, light oak and a hint of spice this wine leans toward the dry with a slight earthy taste and a long mouthwatering finish.
I’ve had this with Penne ala Vodka and Raspberry/Chipotle pork tenderloin. Oh my. The pork (hate to brag) was fabulous!!

I want to buy the Spanish red wine “Corral De La Villa Tempranillo”.
Where is that possible for me and for what price (including transportation to my home). I live in Holland and can`t buy this excellent wine in my country.
