Tonight, we are having this Ginestière Coteaux dur Languedoc 2005, a wonderful French blend of Syrah and Grenache. This is a full-bodied red with aromas of thyme and licorice. The taste is fruity yet sharp, (as in sharp cheese) with a taste of pine and forest. The finish is very nice — raspberries and pine needles. Tom chose the right wine for our dinner tonight.

Hi Kim, To the best of my recollection, this wine was part of a wine club selection that we received. As such, I don’t know which stores might carry the wine. Maybe one of our readers will know. . .and I’ll keep my eyes open for you. Check back for the possibility of more information, okay?
