Lindemans Bin 55 Shiraz Cabernet 2006

Lindemans Bin 55 Shiraz Cabernet 2006This Lindemans Bin 55 Shiraz Cabernet 2006 is definitely fruity. There’s some spice from the shiraz, but the overall taste of this blend is juicy and on the sweet side. It’s very fruit forward. It’s luscious if one’s taste leans toward fruit dominance. It’s too much if one’s taste leans toward dryness and acidity. The price was way, way below $10, so it’s definitely a value.

Hi, Melody and Tom…Just had to tell you that I found a California wine at Sam’s Club called Menage a Trois…of courst THAT label caught my attention!!! It is a California wine from the Folie a Deux Winery and is a combination of Zinfindel/Merlot/Cabernet…hence the name. The label says the flavor is berry with a hint of pepper. It was really good, though I didn’t get much as I was busy making a gorgonzola/puff pastry roll up as an appetizer, and then the Chicken Pasta Salad (HAVE to give you that recipe…lots of Feta cheese and lemon). The evening was beautiful so we (six of us) were able to have dinner on the front porch and watch the world go by. The wine was under $10. Hope you can find it.

Hi V! We have read about that wine. Now, on your recommendation, we will definitely try it. I can’t wait to see your receipe for Chicken Pasta Salad (and I am going to email you my recipe for the pork marinade). I can just picture you and your dinner guests on the front porch in beautiful Charlevoix. It doesn’t get much better than that. . .
