Rosemont Estate Diamond Label Shiraz Vintage 2004
April 15, 2007 — Tom & Melody
Tom: This Rosemount Shiraz 2004 has been a staple around our house for a while and is both delicious and a good value. Full flavored, berry tastes, spicy, fairly acidic, ever so slightly sweet, it is a good representative of Australian shirazes. It might be slight fruit bomby for anti-New World purists, but it’s nonetheless a pleasant everyday quaff.

Melody and Tom: Your blog is great fun! Just wanted to let you know that friends came for an early dinner today and we enjoyed a wonderful leg of lamb. To serve with that I purchased Alamos Malbec 2005 at our local wine shop, Esperance. It is a wine from Argentina, not terribly expensive, and very good. Cheers! Vicki

Vicki,
We have noted the wine and will purchase it our next opportunity! I’ll bet the Malbec went great with the leg of lamb. Thanks for the tip, Vicki! (Stay tuned for a Alamos Malbec review soon!)
