Our friend Richard tried a Fontanafredda Barolo recently and was very impressed.
“Wonderful. The bouquet was unlike anything I had experienced. Barolos are ‘top-end’ Italian wines from the northern Piedmont region. They’re made with Nebiollo grapes, an odd varietal that only grows there. The bouquet was of flowers, licorice, earthy. Some say you can even smell the white truffles that grow there.”
We’ll have to be on the lookout for this.

Good quality wine can make a lot of difference, whether its white or red, I personally prefer red over white, and again it’s depends on a food and personal condition, over all I look at a quality. Here is another related page I found to be useful, check it here http://www.wine-expert-101.com/Dry-Wines.php

Michael — Thank you for your comment. I have bookmarked the related page that you recommended. It appears to have a wealth of information about wine. Thank you, again.
